# Citations

> Every chat answer in Clevia aims to be grounded and is backed by citations that link to the exact page/section in your sources. Click on the citation to jump straight to that spot in the viewer.

### How to read citations

* **Badges:** Citations appear as numbered badges like \[1] \[2] in the answer
* **Click:** Opens the PDF viewer at the precise location (page/section) used for the claim
* **Multiple sources:** Answers may include several badges; each badge maps to a different file
